And we’re back!

Okay so it’s officially over; my month of employment has come to an end. It’s been one hell of an experience too. I enjoyed the work quite a bit but I wasn’t a fan of the long hours that changed and had no consistency whatsoever. I went from days to nights and was not able to have even the slightest resemblance of a normal sleep pattern. I’m happy I didn’t attempt to write in that time because what would’ve come out, would’ve been absolutely dreadful.

Anyway, the contract is over so it’s time to get back to some writing. I’m not sure when I’ll start, I’m still catching up on sleep and getting my body used to a proper routine. Since I’ve been done, I have been waking up with migraines consistently, so it’s clear my body is still angry with me. I am hoping another night or two I’ll be back to semi-normalness and will be able to get back to work.

In light of that, I am posting just to inform you all that a post about writing will be coming sometime this week. I’m hoping it will elevate my mood and bring back my productive behaviour.

I hope everyone has had a great February so far and that those who watched the Olympics enjoyed them!

About rachelsparling

I'm a writer working on a manuscript for a novel. I love to write and I've been doing it for 17 years. Through several story ideas I have figured out what works and what doesn't, and I've learned a lot about myself and my writing style. I love to read and escape to many different worlds. I've also learned a lot about good writing and bad writing through both reading a lot and acquiring an education in English literature, and becoming an ESL teacher. I enjoy filming and photographing all sorts of things and putting together short documentaries and videos. I love my camera.
