Day 33 – Editing Rough Draft

I finally finished that long chapter! I only have two more to go and then I’ll be done the revised draft. Well just about done it. I noticed something I talked about in a later chapter that I am going to have to go back and add in an earlier one in order to help with plot progression. It doesn’t have to be a big part of it, but if I don’t mention it at least, it’s going to cause parts of it to sort of fall apart. I prefer to be thorough.

I apologize for the gap between posts and editing. Last week was busy and chaotic for so many reasons – emotionally, mentally, and physically – and I was unable to get on my computer and edit. For the most part, it feels as though some of it has passed and that means I can get back to editing and finishing the revised draft.

I am short on time today however. I do have an inbox full of things I need to do on here though, and I do plan to get to them. Hope everyone’s week is going well!

About rachelsparling

I'm a writer working on a manuscript for a novel. I love to write and I've been doing it for 17 years. Through several story ideas I have figured out what works and what doesn't, and I've learned a lot about myself and my writing style. I love to read and escape to many different worlds. I've also learned a lot about good writing and bad writing through both reading a lot and acquiring an education in English literature, and becoming an ESL teacher. I enjoy filming and photographing all sorts of things and putting together short documentaries and videos. I love my camera.
