There is only about one week left before National Novel Writing Month begins.
I have been making notes, a chart, and using a notebook to keep track of everything I write and when during that month. I am going to track my progress that way, and I have created a plan in hopes of finishing with 50,000 words. I believe I am prepared.
I took some time, over the last bit, to try to think of something new if I were to start a new story for the challenge. I started writing out some ideas but when I got to the end of everything that had gone through my head, I realized I didn’t actually have anything solid. Needless to say, there wasn’t anything for me to build on and the story wasn’t interesting enough to keep me writing about it. I’ve tried to think of new ideas, but I still haven’t come up with anything. So, as it stands, I think I’ll be working on my novel and finishing the manuscript for the challenge.
I’ve also thought about how often I am going to post since I’ll be writing almost every day. At this point, I’m thinking I probably won’t end up having time to throw a post out there each time I write, but I’m going to try to do it anyways. If I can’t, then it’ll at least be every other day. Regardless, my posting will become more frequent, and possibly even more interesting during the month of November.
I hope that any of you who are taking on this challenge will be successful. I wish everyone the best of luck in it! I know that the creative people who take it on will do well with it.
Hey, good luck. I’m participating for the first time this year, it looks like it’s going to be fun.
Thanks! I wish you the best of luck as well. It will be quite the experience for both of us. It’s my first time too.
