All right so I finally managed to harvest some time and finish up that chapter I’d started last week. I think it’s coming along well. I’m being vague in some areas but with good reason, since I’m about to go into a lot of detail about these things in the next few chapters. Better to show than tell sometimes. Most of the time.

Anyway, it’s done! YAY! It’s two more scenes than I’d initially prepared for and I’m quite all right with that. I’m still a ways away from finishing the rough draft of the manuscript, but I’m happy that I’m getting back to writing more.

Also, a friend of mine asked me to write a short blog post/article on her and her husband’s cafe. Once I get the go ahead from her (I sent her what I had to see if it’s what she’s looking for, tone wise at least), I’ll be sure to link to it on here if not post it. It’ll be good for a lot of reason: exposure, published work, etc.

I have a busy week ahead of me but I’m hoping to squeeze in more time to write. I’ll be sure to try to update if I do get any more writing done. I hope everyone has a good week!
