All right, so there’s a good chance that many of you will think I’ve gone mad at the news contained in this post. That’s fair, because I must have my reasons but also, who would do that? Maybe it’s normal and perhaps I’m just blowing it out of proportion but…

I re-wrote out my story. Again.

I re-outlined the three novels and I re-did the first one completely. There are many of the same elements at play here and there’s lots to pull from. It’s by no means re-creating the world I’ve imagined or changed the characters. Instead what I’ve done is made it more like an origin story. It starts at the beginning of everything going wrong and learning why that is. It then proceeds in a different way though it’s still dealing with the same themes, the same characters, the same ideas. It’s not really that different but I think it works better this way. I think it flows better this way.

Yes this means I’ve started over. No I haven’t deleted all my progress and I will still be holding onto it for specific references needed through out writing this. Yes this means I will be a while before I make any real progress again. And yes this means that I will have to somehow find more time to write otherwise this will take me months all over again.

I am hoping however, that this will be a more successful story and that any readers will enjoy it more than my last. I am hoping that it will still be picked up and it will still sell. So here’s hoping that this is more successful because that’s all I can do right now.
