Day 16

It is a snowstorm of snowstorm out there today. Again. It’s great how we get nice spring weather for about two days and then winter decides to slap you in the face with one hell of a snowstorm, reminding us that it’s still around.

In light of this, I decided to do some writing. I did my weeks goal and sort of finished the chapter. I might have to add more to it but it’s basically there. I also looked over some of my previous chapters and rearranged certain parts of it, making sure that I wasn’t about to repeat myself, and spread certain information out a bit more. Due to this, I spent more time on it than I usually do. Overall, I can’t complain, I feel like it’s coming together better and that there will be more showing than telling.

For the rest of the day I’ll be likely shovelling and taking care of the dogs. Perhaps I’ll be lucky and won’t have to do any shovelling, but with the accumulation we’re getting, I’m doubting it.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a good week and those who live in the general region of this snow storm is safe and sound indoors and doesn’t have to do any travelling today.

About rachelsparling

I'm a writer working on a manuscript for a novel. I love to write and I've been doing it for 17 years. Through several story ideas I have figured out what works and what doesn't, and I've learned a lot about myself and my writing style. I love to read and escape to many different worlds. I've also learned a lot about good writing and bad writing through both reading a lot and acquiring an education in English literature, and becoming an ESL teacher. I enjoy filming and photographing all sorts of things and putting together short documentaries and videos. I love my camera.
