So initially I wasn’t going to do any writing today and my plan was to catch up next week. Well that didn’t happen. I found myself sitting at my computer waiting for an insane number of updates to complete, that I figure, what the hell, let’s write.

I pulled up the chapter that was the next in line. I looked at my outline/summary, and decided to get started on it. There was an awkward part of a scene that I will have to fix when I edit it, but for the most part, I got a lot of information in the chapter. In fact, I finished the rough copy of it and had it relatively smoothly lead into the next chapter.

It’s a semi-pivotal chapter for the main character. She finds someone from her past and things start happening. She learns a number of things in this chapter, and it helps to move things along, giving the reader a better understanding of how everything is and why it is the way it is.

I’m glad it’s done. I feel like I accomplished quite a bit tonight and in a decent number of hours too. I can’t complain. I’m caught up on my goals now so that’s always a good thing.

While working away I was given a number of things to do before I can even relax – don’t you love it when that happens? – so I’ll have to end the post here. It’ll be a late night by the sounds of it, and I’m bloody exhausted.
