I didn’t have time yesterday to post much of anything, but I wrote a half scene. There was a bit of information I wanted to make sure made it into the book, and I had part of the scene going through my head so I wrote it down as quickly as I could. I still have to write a lead up to it and connect everything that I’ve written before it, to what I just wrote yesterday. I should also really be focusing on editing, but alas, that didn’t happen.
There has been a lot going on over the last couple of weeks. Many changes, tough conversations, and my body seems to be trying to fight something off. It has, unfortunately, left me in a physically weakened state and I haven’t had a chance to exercise over the last few days (today being the worst as I couldn’t manage the energy to walk our dogs with my brother). I am hoping that it will pass, as most things do, and my strength will return and so will my editing prowess. It might take the end of the week before I’m back to normal, but I’m taking what I can get as I go along anyways.
Also, on a completely unrelated note, J.K. Rowling was answering questions for a sponsored Harry Potter Book Night that her publishing company was running to introduce new readers to the series. She only answered three of them on twitter, but they were interesting ones. Two of the three I had never really thought of or considered as overly relevant, but the answers still filled it all in. The last one, having to do with Harry being a horcrux and the Basilisk fang not killing the horcrux inside him was something that I know people have been asking for a long time. And she finally answered it. Here is the link for the questions and answers for any fans of the series who haven’t seen it yet.
Anyway, I’m off to try to take it easy and relax.
